Evaluation of FGRF activities in natural disasters in the light of Islamic teachings
Abstract
Dawat-e-Islami is a prominent international welfare organization that has provided critical support to individuals during challenging times. Established in Pakistan in 1981 by Maulana Ilyas Attar Qadri, widely recognized as the Ameer of Dawat-e-Islami, this organization aims to uplift communities by disseminating the teachings of Islam and promoting the Sunnah.This article examines the social services rendered by Dawat-e-Islami in response to the economic hardships exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. It will explore (1) the organization's objectives and mission, (2) its pivotal role in enhancing societal well-being, (3) the initiatives and goals of the Faizan Global Relief Foundation during the pandemic, and (4) the assessment of its social impact. The discourse is presented in a comprehensive and analytical manner.
