Abstract

Al-Slam is an attribute of Allah Almighty and Islam is also the name of His favorite religion which is the continuity of the teachings of all the prophets. It is a basic belief in Islam that no new prophet will come and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the last prophet, was sent to all creatures in all the worlds. After him, all his followers must convey his message to others. Some people especially followed his message and migrated to the Indian Subcontinent. The propagation of Islam was their aim. It is narrated in hadith that such as Muslims will perform the duty of Israelites Prophets. Muslim traders, rulers, military commanders, scholars, and mystic saints played an important role in the propagation and spread of Islam here. The majority of Indian Muslims are the descendants of those who converted to Islam at the hands of Muslim Saints. It is a narrative research of their services in Islamic propagation and spread in the subcontinent. They earn their livelihood from their sources and serve Humanity according to the teachings of Islam. They faced many difficulties but did not leave their duty to spread the Islamic message. In their footsteps, their followers are working hard in the modern era, and continuity of preaching is on its way.
