Analytical Study of Economic Problems of Women in the light of Sirat al-Jinan

Abstract

Women have much role in the establishment of a good society. Economic position of  a country also depends on the active participation of women in economic activities. Islam has given them right of possession. Women have no any economic responsibility even then they have been given right in heritance in Islam. This article aims to discuss the economic problems of women in the light of Tafsir Sirat al-Jinan. Examples of economic problems have been collected from the tafsir then analysed and discussed. It can be concluded that writer of the book Sirat al-Jinan has discussed the economic problems of women with reference of early sources and described the rulings of Islamic Jurisprudence.
