Abstract

The term Generation Z refers to those who were born between 1997 and 2012. This was raised in digital world, where access to smartphones, social media platforms, and the internet was prevalent. While these technologies have facilitated increased access to information and opportunities for creativity, they have also contributed to the emergence of psychological and social challenges. Generation Z frequently reports elevated levels of stress, anxiety, depression, loneliness, and identity confusion. Additionally, familial relationships within this cohort have shown signs of degeneration. This paper examines these challenges and explores how the example set by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ offers enduring guidance. The Prophet provided his companions with responsibilities aligned with their abilities and fostered hope, patience, and robust family relationships. Implementing these principles may assist Generation Z in achieving psychological well-being, strengthening family bonds, and developing a sense of purpose.
