Iqbal’s poetry is adorned with natia kalam which is full of deep love for HAZRAT MUHAMMAD ﷺ.In his poetry, Iqbal not only describes the symbols and rites of Islam but also gets acquainted with Muhabbat e Rasoolﷺ. Love for RASOOLﷺ is essential for every muslim as it is a feature of our faith and also a compulsion of our life. Iqbal’s natiya kalam is full of passion, true love for Rasool ﷺ, as Man’s salvation is not possible without the love and grace of the Hazrat Muhammadﷺ. This is what he seems to be preaching throughout his poetry that we must adapt our lives to the pattern of the Rasoolﷺ. If man adopts the love of the Holy Prophetﷺ, then the pleasure of Allah becomes the destiny of man. This article will review the Natiya elements in Iqbal’s poetry.
