Effects of Qira't Ashrah Mutwatarah on Exegesis in the light of Al-Jamal and Al-Ṣāwī Footnotes (Comparative Analysis)

Abstract

It is a well-known fact that Islamic Studies is like a fruit  tree, and it is obvious that no tree grows without branches  and efforts. There are many branches of  Islamic  Studies  that look like  branches  and  happiness to us. The sciences of the Qurān completed until then unless the differences between the  recitations of the Qurān and  its various causes and interpretive effects are explained. The  meanings of  many  commentators  and  recitations have been explained by readers based on their breadth of knowledge. Allāma Sulemān bin Umar al Jamal(1204 Hijri) and Allama Ahmad bin Muhammad al Ṣāwī(1241 Hijri) are also among these commentators. They discussed the different  readings  in their Footnotes and pays close interpretive effects. After describing  the living conditions of al-Jamal and al-Ṣāwī, their style of narration has also been described as required. Three verses of the Holy Qurān are mentioned in the footnotes: verse No.85 from Sūrah al-Baqara, verse number 01 from Al-Nisā  and  verse number 07 from Sūrah Banī  Israīl  have  been selected. After a comparative study of these verses, it is divided into three stages: Qurrā recitation in the first stage, Meaning of Qirā’t in the second stage and  in the third  stage, the interpretive effects of  the  readings  have been explained in simple but comprehensive words. It should be noted  that at the end of each verse, the summary of the commentary effects was also stated in a comprehensive manner, So that the readers do not have any difficulty in understanding and reading the conceptual demands.
