Poverty:causes,effects and solution in the perspective of Pakistani society and Islamic teachings

Abstract

Wealth has key significance in Human life. Human being depends on wealth to fulfill his basic necessities. It is wealth that becomes the causes of separation and the status. The existence of wealth causes honor whereas its deprivations equal to the least in status in someone’s eyes. It is possible to hide richness but poverty cannot be hide. There are various outlooks about wealth in our societies. Wealth is considered heinous thing as well as zenith of human life. By adopting moderate way, it is also regarded as a source of benediction and blind trust in it is also thought as an unlawful. The circulation of wealth is such a mind set on behalf of which stability in societies, brotherhood and love of relations in different classes can be strengthened. In present era, poverty is part and parcel and its solution is only the wealth in incessant circulation. Without any doubt, the belief and Din of one’s cannot be safe in the poverty. The Holy Prophet (Pbuh) also demanded refuge from the after effects of poverty. Hence, in this article to know the causes of poverty and starvation, and Islamic rules or principles to eliminate the poverty will be discussed due to which poverty in Pakistani societies can be decreased.
