Abstract
Mir Taqi Mir is "Khuda E Sukhan" in Urdu poetry while Sayed Waris Shah is popularly known as "Sukhan Da Waris" in Punjabi poetry. Both are classical poets of the same period and were live for the seventy five years simultaneously. The both poets representing their language, literature, culture and civilization produced everlasting creative legacy which is of same importance not in the past but also in present and future as an appreciable literary heritage. This research article presents a comparison in thought and craft of the representative of their seprate civilizations living as contemporary. Besides this an effort was also made to prominent their political, social and psychological awareness through poetic examples (verses).
