Abstract
Syed Zamir Jafari is a renowned humorous poet as well as a prose writer. He was a poet who with his unique poetic diction ruled over Urdu literature. He was a trend setter in humorous Urdu poetry. He also wrote humorous prose but he got fame by his poetry. He was a true patriot as he served in Pak Army. This broad perspective gave his poetry richness of veriety of different dimensions about social life. He has about 78 published books of poetry and prose, possessing a varied range of thought provoking work.
