Abstract
Provincial Assembly Sindh has been established after the 1937 elections. The building of the Provincial Assembly Sindh was built on 11 March 1940. The Historical significance of Provincial Assembly Sindh building is that the Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah has Oath as First Governor General of Pakistan here. Provincial Assembly Sindh's debates are valuable asset. Its profound study reveals the new dimensions of knowledge and literature. Poetry is one of the distinctive genres of the literature. Honorable Assembly members have used various Urdu poetry verses in order to make their speech effective, argumentative, eloquent and figurative. This poetry depicts their intellectual, meditative and emotional skills and also creates the awareness of worldly affair. This research article is an chronological study of the Urdu poetry used in Provincial Assembly Sindh's debates since 1972 to 1986.
