Abstract
Consenses is the third source of Islamic law which is the mutual consent of scholars on any issue. In Quran, the word Shurah is used for consensus. During the era of Prophet (PBUH), It was not valid because Prophet (PBUH) was alive and can solve different problems. Now, according to Iqbal, this consensus of scholars lead to Ijtihad which is the use of every era and flourishes the sanctity Islam and Muslims mentality.
