Abstract
Kashf ul Mahjoob is one of the earliest books on the theory and practice of Tasawaf in Islam. It was written in th The 11th Century in Persian by Syed Ali Hajveri known as Data Ganj Bakhsh. He is the Patron Saint of Lahore and his Mazar is the focus of veneration of Lahorese till today. Kashf ul Mahjoob has always been a point of reference in every age. Its teaching are still relevant in todays world of strive and struggle. In this article Dr. Samina Nadeem discusses the reasons of this phenomenon and brings to write its various implicatinos of peace, tolerance and equality.
