Abstract
In this article, the word 'Humour' has been defined. This word has been explained in different dictionaries in a different way. The light has also been shed on the word 'Humour' as literary term. The main purpose of this article is to make the readers or student scholars familiar with this literary term and its main elements i.e., The elements which make the things funny and amusing. The different elements of 'Humour'are similarities and contradictions, 'pun', 'wit', and 'humorous situations', 'funny character' and 'parody'. These main elements are explained with examples.
