Abstract
"The Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam" is a collection of seven lectures of Allama Mohammad Iqbal. Its first edition comprising six lectures was published in 1930 and the second edition comprising these six lectures along with the seventh, the new lecture was published in 1934. Since then, its several editions have been published by different publishers at national and international levels. This book has also been translated into several languages. In Urdu, its five translations have been published to date and the sixth translation is going to be published this year. This research study reveals that the English translation of verses given in this book and its Urdu translations needs to be reviewed and improved as well."
