Abstract
Imagery as a derived word from image. In poetry when a poet draws a scene or picture in his poetic words, it is called imagery. It directly relates to the human aesthetic sense. Urdu poets use this poetic technique in their poetic lines effectively. This article reflects a brief introduction of imagery and its use in urdu poetry. Through this article we can understand the concept and use of imagery.
