Abstract
The debate of literary and non-literary is as old as that of word and meanings in the history of men's writing and is going on since time immemorial. The logics have always been presented in the favour and against it now this debate has taken the form of two proper schools of thought. This article premises some orientations of this topic. The opinions of the critics of the East and West bearing literature for the sake of Literature have been presented as a rationale so that the distinction between literary and non-literary may be clarified
