اقبال اور تحریکِ خلافت
Abstract
According to Iqbal, the Turkish Caliphate was not a caliphate but a property. He says that Caliphate is the perfect form of the political system which was blessing for the world. He says that monachry is forbidden in Islam because Islam is a universal religion and it doesn't require the existence of any particular region or country. That's why Iqbal didn't react strongly to the abolition of the Caliphate. But when the Turks embraced secularism and began to imitate the West, Iqbal urged them to follow the principle of their religion, Islam, instead of imitating others. He said that the Turks not to imitate others if they were to create their own world.
