Abstract
Meer Taqi Meer, who is the "God of Poetry" has a Particular place in Urdu poetry. He portrays the colours of life in the form of poetry similarly he lived. His own Sorrows do not remain just his own even he makes the sorrow universal. All kind of emotions, feelings, observations and experiences on which he throwd light in his poetry seems like everyone's personal experiences in spite of just his (Meer) own experiences. It's the reason that he stands on the height of success in the literature and the poets and critics of every Era appriciate his efforts, work, and accept his place as a God of poetry. Owing to different dimentions of his poetry, No doubt Meer is such an unmatchable poet in the history of Urdu literature.
