Abstract
Many a scholars, poet and creative writers have been associated with Pakistan Army and served it in many arms and services in different capacities. Prof Dr. Muhammad Khan Ashraf is one of them who served in Baloch Regiment of Pakistan Army. He fought in defence of the motherland, was severely wounded in action and was decorated with Sitara-e-Jurat for his valour and bravery. After retirement he joined Education Department Govt of the Punjab. He is known as critic, teacher, historian and a poet. In this article Dr Samina Nadeem evaluates his poetry. she points out that his poetry countains the traditional subject of Romanticism as well as the new realities and trends. She has discussed in detail the important and particular subjects of his poetry.
