Abstract
Captain Atta Rasool (retd) also known as Shakir Kandan needs no introduction in Urdu literature. He is a prominent figure in the army’s contribution to the Urdu literature. He was blessed not only with physical strength but also with a mind strong enough to use the might of pen. He wrote in both Urdu & Punjabi. His creativity along with research & editing is well known in literary circles. This research article highlights his work in his life & literary works so that literature loving people can get to know his multi-dimensional work.
