Abstract
N.M. Rashid served as Public Relation Officer in army. He is counted among the pioneers of Urdu Free Verse. Rashid was the poet of poets. The thing that distinguishes Rashid from other poets is his originality. He makes newest experiments in free verse. Dramatic milieu, magical administration of similies and metaphors are included in the wonders of his poetic germination. This thesis circumscribes this perspective.
