Abstract
This research work is about the use of Insinuations in Ali Naqi Khan’s novels. Insinuation is a noun according to parts of speech. It is a hint, a suggestion or an intimation by distant allusion. Insinuation is a great means of influencing people, create a sublanguage–bold statements followed by retraction and apology, ambiguous comments, banal talk combined with alluring glances that enters the target’s subconscious to convey the writer’s real meaning and make everything suggestive. The use of Insinuation remained popular in literature of the world. Ali Naqi Khan is a multisided person and a versatile genius, poet, translator, novelist critic and distinguished himself in all these capacities. I would try to explore Insinuation in his novels.
