Abstract
"The propagation of global village has been multiplied due to the usage of Information Technology (I.T) in every field of life. I.T has also provided equal opportunities to people to create, participate or share any type of soft-form data they need or like. Therefore, this paradigm shift has not only generated worldwide acceptance of e-book for people but also a No. of books like "Encyclopedia Britannica" have been converted from hardcore print to e-book publishing only. In accordance with challenges of 21st century, e-books and online libraries of Urdu are going to increase by leaps and bounds as a good gesture for its survival and propagation. In this article, a critical analysis of online/digital Urdu libraries and challenges of 21st century is brought into limelight."
