Abstract
Urdu newspapers have basic role to educate the people of nineteenth century as well as to enhance coordination between government and the society of sub continent. These newspapers awakened the people and the government for the sake of good governance and obedience. Urdu language also enriched by the efforts of the editors. These newspapers have important role in the awareness and education of the people at that time. This article looks into the subject.
