Abstract
The collective beliefs of a nation combine to make a civilization. Civilization, also reflect the life style and thinking patterns of a society. When a group of human beings lives together in a particular place, they, quite naturally, tend to share their customs, traditions, way of life, moral values, dressing and language with each other. The need to have necessities of life marks the first step towards mental elevation of man. It is considered to be the beginning of human culture. Actually man's life started in a very simple way. It was through evolution that man entered into this Modern phase of development, and attained the standard of civilization which is appreciated by a cultured society. The Muslim heritage is based on the principles of the Quran and Hadith, and thus owes its roots to the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Allama Muhammad Iqbal demonstrated the essences of Islamic heritage by means of his addresses and poetry. Undoubtedly, Islamic heritage is built on the roadmap designed by Allah. And hence, it is the ultimate heritage.
