Abstract
"Haroof" are those symbols/signs which are used to write a language. It is the basic function of "Haroof". The Urdu alphabets are not only used for the presentation of phonics but also have many mysterious aspects. They are also used in many types or knowledges like poetry, Ilm-e-Jafer, Sitara Shanasi (Astrology) & Ilm-ul-Adad, especially "Haroof Muqetiyat" are undefined Urdu Haroof have spiritual, poetic, scientific and aesthetic denotations.
