Her language is a language of common man. Impressive style and flow of softness are the things borrowed from Virginia Wolf. She uprooted the stagnation and cleansed the fiction. She moreover tried to free it from obsession of fantasy and playful realism. She also stilled in it responsiveness and sensitivity. She is known as trendsetter in Urdu fiction. As a most celebrated writer, she paved the path for future female writers introducing bold and unaccepted topics in society. She is credited for introducing a unique narrative technique into the vernacular novel and short story. She writes like a historian and treats the ending of novel with unmatched precision.
