Abstract
Ghazal is a cultural genre of poetry and has a rich tradition in Persian and urdu literature.it is an interesting fact that some English writers has also written urdu ghazal during colonial period of india. alexander azad, gorge pesh shor, de casta, farasu, waker, jozuf ashiq and many other poets have written ghazals and their DEWAN (anthology) have been published. This is a notable point that they adopt those themes that have been remained as a tradition of urdu poetry.poetic style of these poets is very rich and have artistic touch.
