Abstract
"Asad Muhammad Khan is one of the most prominent Urdu fiction writers of the modern era. He has presented the true picture of the poverty, hunger, politics, conflicts among sects, historical events and the social issues of the modern era. He has raised his voice against the social injustices and the exploitation of women in his fiction. His fiction shows the real problems of their lives and the unequal behaviour of the society which was treated with them. Asad Muhammad Khan depicts how a woman becomes dead alive when she suffers at the hands of poverty and the bitter attitudes of the society."
