Abstract
Stylistic Study of a Ghazal of Baal-e-Jabreel
Iqbal's ghazal poetry is a landmark in the three hundred years tradition of Urdu ghazal. He discovered a number of spaces to introduce new elements of poetic aesthetics in the limited pattern of ghazal. Especially ghazals included in his poetry collection Baal-e-Jabreel presents a modern stylistic approach of the poet. This article presents a stylistic study of a representative ghazal of Iqbal from Baal-e-Jabreel.
