Abstract
Iqbal was not only a great philosopher but also a great poet. He showed his great interest and deep insight in modern sciences. One can see a huge number of verses in Iqbal's poetry which are the finest mixture of physics and metaphysics. From East, Iqbal was greatly impressed by Rumi and Ghalib while from West he was impressed by Burgson and Goethe. The scientific consciousness and poetic aesthetics are the chief qualities of his poetry. In this article Iqbal's Urdu poetry is discussed in the light of different sciences
