Abstract
Metaphor as an essential element of poetry had been used by all the poets to enrich the meaning and depth of the image which a poet wants to depict.
Iqbal has used the metaphor of "Musht e Khak" many a time in his poetry to depict the reality of man's birth and man's life on this Earth. Iqbal has used the metaphor of "Musht e Khak" specially to enlighten the hidden qualities of man. In this paragraph an attempt has been made to reveal the real thought of Iqbal about man as a perfect creature of Allah on this Earth.
