Abstract
''Irony is such a way of addressing that seemingly produces the stat of muffled smile, but on meditation it becoms the reason of sympathy and shaking of conscience. Iqbal very wisely used this device in his poetry. His irony invisages the intoxicated nation, english education system, selfishness of the Mulla, short-sightedness of the sheikh, clevernes of the hindu vender, social crookedness and approximately every that flaw which causes troublend worry for the people. In the tradition of employing of irony,if we say that the reference of Iqbal falls among the few renowned persons, it would be obviously a fact.''
