Abstract
Allama Iqbal is a poet and writer whose subjects address external circumstances as well as inner experiences and dimensions of a person. His aesthetic sense appears in manifold forms. His breath of thought accorded him to an exalted position in Urdu poetry. We find artistic beauty and grandeur in his poetry. In this article, I have tried to analyse both the characteristics in his poetry.
