Abstract
Sheikh Saadi Sherazi is one of the great scholars and poets of the Persian Language. His Book "Gulistan-e-Saadi"is a master piece in Persian prose and poetry that brought about a revolution in the chapter of morality. The narrating style of Gulistan-e-Saadi is as such that a reader does not feel any bordeom, dullness or weariness. The book consists of 8 chapters; easy and simple diction is used; the freshness and civility of metaphors and similes have made Gulistan adorable. Gulistan was translated in many other languages. The translation of Gulistan is found in every local and national language. It is not easy to speculate in how many languages it has been translated. No other book seems to be a parallel of Gulistan-e-Saadi.
