Abstract
Muhammad Khalid Akhtar enjoys high prestige in Urdu litrature,and when it comes to humorous and satirical writing,Muhammad Khalid Akhtar can be ranked among the finest of all times. His unique writing style made his work more intresting and entertaining, earning him an ever-lasting position in urdu literature. His writings are capable of pulling some strings in the minds of those who can dig for deeper meaning. His writings are both relatable and enjoyable, and always leave the reader with some food for thought. In the following paper,the significance of satire in Mohammad Khalid Akhtar's writing is haghlighted.
