Abstract
Word innovation has vast meaning. Innovative is not truly innovative, but it is derived from the vastness of past which not only make our eyes squint but also provides us present and future. Modern poem of Urdu proved itself in the first half of 20th century. And due to it, new innovative moderity took its birth in Urdu poetry. Modern poetry is totally different from other forms. In it, there is no compulsion of topic and form. It is different from others due to its way of expression and tradition. Its main feature is interiority. Modern poetry is defined vastly by many people . Poets have used their internal experiences of life as examples. Poets uses modern poetry to express its cultural values and artistic expression.
