Abstract
"Mirza Athar Baig is a renowned Urdu novelist of the 21st century. "Ghulam Bagh" and "Sifer Say Aik Tak" are his remarkable and thought provoking novels of this era. These novels stand out with a prominent deviation from the literary style and themes of traditional novels of the age. Class distinction, social conflicts, psychological as well as practical ways of gaining power of wealth and knowledge of the upper class to snub the lower class, retaliation of the downtrodden people of society etc are the main subjects which the novelist has presented with his peculiar philosophical literary style. This article may exhort the thought and critical approach of the reader."
