Abstract
Allama Iqbal is of the view that there is a growing tendency of individuality in every being, but only the individuality of God is perfect and without parallel. The other important elements in the Quranic Conception of God are creativeness, knowledge, omnipotence and eternity. Iqbal says that mere conception without association is not enough. The way to have close association with God is worship or prayer. Prayer is an act of knowledge-seeking. Therefore, according to him, even a scientific observer of nature is also a kind of mystic. Besides cognitive element of prayer, its social implications are equality, sagacity,unity and fraternity are also considerable and significant.
