Abstract
Iqbal has presented the concept of independent state for the muslims of subcontinent not only in his poetry but also in speeches,lectures,letters and articles where they can freely live according to the principles and instructions of Islam.He emphasizes on courage,hard work and commitment to achieve the goal. His concepts of " Khudi " and "Ishq" are the key steps towards the independence.He teaches to create our own world with self confidence and after the realisation of our hidden abilities.This article concludes that Iqbal wants to see the strength of faith, belief and confidence in the Muslims which is the base to build up the nation.
