Abstract
In the history of Urdu fiction Saadat Hassan Munto is an important and revolutionary name. He is the first one to develop the ideas of realism and naturalism. Munto's short stories are dealing with political, social, psychological problems side by side ideology of independenc and different problems which are faced after independence. We can see courage and boldness in his writings. He deals ideology of independence in his writings which is described in this article. This article discusses independenc, its stimulus, responses and other facts in great detail.
