Abstract
Dr.Syed Abdullah was a great Urdu Scholar who has contributed a lot regarding Urdu research and criticism. He plays a vital role to introduce Pakistani culture in the light of Islamic values and principles of independence. He has given a theory of independence based on four principles i.e. two nation theory, Pakistaniat, Pakistani culture and Urdu language. In this article this theory has been elaborated while giving relative examples from Syed Abdullah's works.
