Abstract
Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah snatched Pakistan from the clutches of imperial England and avaracious Hindus and out of the diverse elements of Muslims of India, he created a nation. He gave us our identity, state, nationhood, a homeland and enabled us to live and prosperous as an independent people instead of as a minority in united India. He declared that the national language of Pakistan will be Urdu. Inspite of being shrined in the constitution of Pakistan as a national langugage, it has not been given its promised place. This article analyses its pros and cones and reasons behind this.
