Abstract
Calligraphy has religious and cultural roots in our society. Muslim calligraphists promoted and raised this beneficial art to the highest peak of glory. It fulfills the needs of aesthetic aspects of human life. The expected great reward in hereafter inspires the Muslim calligraphists to take keen interest in this marvellous and splendid art. In this research article an humble effort has been made to express deep emotional, historical and core relationship between urdu orthography and calligraphy.
