Abstract

In contemporary era, tourism has become an essential part of human life, but a lot of recreational opportunities divert a man away from religious values.

This is the reason a religious person avoids to visit such a place which is contrary to Islamic teachings. So he looks for such tourism where he and his family get the environment according to Islamic values. That is why halal tourism is required, which must be according to the Islam. Halal tourism can play an important role in economic development of a country.

In this research paper, we will highlight five basic aspects of halal tourism with the general etiquette of tourism in the light of Islam, which are as follows: -

Halal earning, halal transport, halal accommodation, halal food and halal entertainment
