This research focusses the concept of a perfect man in the light of works of these two personalities. The views of both the scholaers have been discussed, analyzed and compared about the matter. Examples from their works ie poetry have been sected to elaborate their point of view to becom e a perfect man. In the views of Sultan Bahū and Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, a man cannot achieve the level of perfection until he is true to faith in Tawḥid (Oneness of Allah) and Risalat (last Prophethood of Holy Prophet Muhammad PBUH), strongly hold to Islamic beliefs and tenets, to cling the pillars of Islam, be obedient to commands of Allah and His Prophet,  following the ethical principles of Islam. To Sultan Bahū (RA), the declaration that “there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (PBUH) is His Messenger” causes one to attain gnosis. Sultan Bahū (RA) claims that a person who adheres to five fundamentals of Islam is bestowed with five spiritual treasures. Whereas Commitment to Pillars of Islam keeps a person on pious track, according to Dr. Muhammad Iqbal.
