Abstract

This paper intends to discuss the ownership. Ownership cab be divided in different types and uses in different matters of Islamic Shariah . Ownership is used in all religions and every religion differs to this type of financing. Ijara ( Muntahia Bittamleek ),  is a form of Islamic financing in which the Islamic Bank purchases an item for a customer, then leases it to him with a profit via a leasing agreement between the two parties. There are opinions of scholars regarding this type of possession through partnership exercising agreement based upon partnership.  This is a form of leasing contract which includes a promise by the lessor to transfer the ownership of the leased property to the lessee, either at the end of the term of the Ijarah period or by stages during the term of the contract.
