Role of Judiciary in a Welfare State (In Seerah perspective)

Abstract

Judiciary is one of the important pillars of a welfare state. The people
of a state cannot do their duties properly if they have no peace of mind about
their belongings. If a state does not arrange system of justice according to
the standards, it cannot be called a welfare state. The role of justice has been
discussed in this article under four sub themes: social justice, economical
justice, political justice and judicial justice in the light of instructions given
in the seerah of the Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him) who
succeeded to establish in the state of Madina in a short period. If we want to
see our country a stable and successful welfare state, we will have to look
into our judicial system and take measures according to the guidelines of
seerah.
