Abstract

Hazrat Imam Rabbani R. A.(1624) spent his life for the promotion
of Islam and eradication of anti-islamic concepts and practices prevailed in
the Indian Muslim society. After his death, a great role was played by his
guiding epistles and capable heirs to keep his name alive and to propagate
his endeavors and services. They continously promoted his work by not
only keeping his seminary and Khanqah alive but also guided the society
by writing journals and books on different topics of religious worth. They
up raised the standard of culture of knowledge in Indian subcontinent.
They guided the people of different social classes with their letters in the
discipleship of Hazrat Imam Rabbani. The recipients of these letters
included general public, scholars elites, princes and even kings. In this
article it has been discussed that how Naqshabandia school has done the
great work and how significant role has played by the progeny of Imam
Rabbani R. A..
