Abstract

Many methodologies have been adopted by Traditionalists in compilation of  Uloom-al-Hadith.The most important of which, is Mushkil-al-Hadith that helps removing the apparent conflicts among Ahadiths. The great scholar is the one who resolves conflicts found in adiths. Abu Bakar Moḥammad bin Ḥassan Ibne Forak (406h) the great traditionalist is known to be one of the founders of Ilm e Mushkil-al-Hadith.His book Mushkil-al-Hadith wa Bayanhu is counted one of primary sources of ilm e Mushkil-al-Hadith. Ibne Forak (406h) divided the book into three portions, each of which contains Ahadiths about Fundamentals of Faith. Ibne Forak (406h) interprets the Ahadiths in line with Asharite school of thought of Ahle sunnat. Besides Quranic verses and Ahadiths, he established his standpoint according to Arabic lexicon and Arabic verses (poetry).
